Then by Works have stumbled off the Road!

By Faith All things are done!

What our Lord Jesus has done for you and me becomes Null and Void! When we believe by works we can perfect our walk with God.

Galations 3: 3 - Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit (Faith), are ye now made perfect by the flesh (Works)?

I believe the strait gate is Faith.

I also believe the wide gate is Works.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The reason for ALL THE DIVISIONS in the Churches if you look at is WORKS!

Doctrines/Works Greave the Holy Spirit!

Some examples of Works/(Rules to Follow):

An Example of just a few things taught to improve righteousness with God.
  • Certain dress code when attending church
  • The food you eat (don’t eat pork, shrimp, etc.)
  • To not Smoke Cigarettes
  • Not to drink alcohol
  • The need to be baptize in water for salvation
  • No musical instruments (church of Christ)
  • No modern Music in another church

The differences in works (rules) are as great as all the denominations!

Matthew 23:5 - But all their works they do for to be seen of men ...

The power of the Holy Ghost works through Faith
Jesus is quoted through out the scriptures Because of your Faith  you have received your request! (healing's, deliverance, raised from the dead, etc.)

You can't have two masters! which will it be? the Power of Faith or the Weakness of Works

Hebrews 7: 18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Hebrews 7: 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
